3 Weeks In Tour Japan With Our Family: Our Itinerary

So our first stop was Tokyo. This giant megalopolis (pleonasm?) Of more than 13 million inhabitants was a pleasant surprise for us who do not generally like big cities. We found it very airy, paradoxically quite calm and full of nature with many parks. The area we chose to put our luggage there is probably for something in this feeling. In Asakusa we rented an apartment for 5 nights via Airbnb. This area offers us all the advantages: quiet little streets with little traffic that lead to a magnificent set of temples (Senso-ji) and small shopping streets, a metro station nearby which allows you to get to the main points of interest of the city and ... a superb playground in which we quickly got used to spending 1 to 2 hours at each end of the day so that Éléanor had her time to her after da

Our Daily With Eleanor During Our Round The World, Or How To Appreciate This Beautiful Trip

We regularly receive questions from travelers wishing to go around the world with a baby (or an infant), or simply go on a trip or vacation with their little bit a few months after birth. I believe I have already answered in an earlier article on the ease and necessity of undertaking such a journey with a baby , so for this article I will devote myself to a practical case: ours! We've been traveling around the world for almost 11 months with our little Eleanor (and before that, we had made several trips since birth!). At the age of 2 years and 3 months, she was 1 year and 4 months old at the time of our departure in September 2016. What is the secret of Eléanor's natural joie de vivre? The answer below 🙂 And I will tell you why and how we get to make this trip a great adventu

Day 1: One word of order for this stay, friendliness, and above all no stress! Early morning departure from the Kunegel garage, where we were able to leave our vehicles. Luggage loaded, we board our comfortable coach tourism. Our driver briefly explains the main features of the bus and we are off, heading for Switzerland and its beautiful mountain scenery. Around 8:30 am, stop at the top of the Gotthard pass, the breakfast we took will be enjoyed in the fresh air ... fresh! in an enchanting setting. The journey begins again, letting us freely enjoy the scenery that passes by, the comments of the driver, a video or the opportunity offered by the wi-fi on board ... Arrival late afternoon in our 4 * in a village near the lake. Day 2: Verona, city of Romeo and Juliet ... but not only!

Currently on tour around the world with Éléanor (1 year and 4 months to our departure in September 2016, 2 years and 3 months today), we regularly receive questions through this blog or our Facebook page. Here are the answers to these regularly asked questions about preparing a world tour with a baby (or a young child - we have known the 2: parties with a baby, we have today - almost - a little girl !). Two more articles will complement this one in the weeks to come: a FAQ on our travel (how to travel, money management, baby products ...) and a more personal FAQ on our return ... the next!). PS: If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask us. We will respond as best we can! Good reading ! 🙂 September 19, 2016 at Roissy airport: departure of our world tour of one year. How

7 Reasons To Travel By Bus In New Zeland

As I said above I did not think of traveling by bus Stray in New Zealand but this experience was finally positive and I recommend this way of transport in New Zealand (or another country) especially if you are traveling alone . Without great hesitation and on the recommendation of the staff of the inn in which I was in Auckland, I opted for the company Stray. I was able to buy a pass the day before the departure (period February / March). The meeting point was a few minutes walk from my accommodation. 1Meet other travelers (solo) By traveling with hop-on hop-off buses, we meet other travelers who often also travel alone. Meeting other travelers when traveling alone in his rental car or his camp is not obvious. Stray buses allow you to share the adventure with other bus passengers. Th...

OUR ITINERARY IN ASTURIAS We did not do a road trip properly speaking, that is to say that we have not traveled a road from a point A to a point B or a loop. We had a drop-off at my friend's house and went every day to visit one or more places in Asturias. As the area is not large, you can do everything to have two accommodation one to the east of Oviedo to discover the whole east then another west of Oviedo to visit western Asturias. DAY 1AVILÉS - CAP PEÑAS - GIJON Aviles Avilés is the third city of Asturias. The old town has been classified historical site, thanks to its jewels of civil and sacred architecture. The crazy charm of the center of Avilés contrasts with the surprising (and concreted) architecture of the international cultural center Oscar Niemeyer, designed by the Brazi

The first thing to do when deciding to leave any destination and if it is not a last-minute departure, is to start by defining the means of transport for return. To get to Cuba there are not a thousand alternatives; the plane seems to be immediately obvious. At the time I prepared for my trip to Cuba, all the companies did not serve (yet) Cuba but today more and more companies are flying to Cuba, and the companies are competing, which lowers prices. Compare prices of hotel accommodations in  Liligo . If you can be flexible, the prices of flights can vary greatly from one day to another or from one week to another. Find a flight on Liligo Updated 14.07.2015: until April 30, 2015 an airport tax of 25CUC was to be provided from Cuba. This tax is now included in the price of the air tick

OLD QUEBEC, CANADA Old Québec, easily accessible from anywhere in the province by train, bus or car, is a must in Canada! I love its historical side, it is here that our country began to develop, that the fighting between France and England took place, but also where many of our adventurous ancestors docked long before that to leave to the Aboriginal meeting. Today, there are the popular Château Frontenac, known as postcards, as well as tons of historical, artistic and cultural museums, archaeological sites and even rather unusual places. Whether strolling along its arteries filled with souvenir shops, clothing or other trinkets, or stopping in its green areas, the historic area of the capital of Quebec has something to please everyone the types of travelers. Relaxed and calm, it swarms

What Are The Worst Tourists In The World?

We are always happy to go on holiday abroad ... Figure-you that the premises, they, are not always happy to welcome us! Some people simply hate us ... What are these hated tourists? For what reasons) ?Investigation. Which tourists are most hated? In France, we do not like Asian tourists ("They make too many photos") or the Russians, which many find disrespectful! It falls well the French tourist is not appreciated either abroad. However, according to a recent survey (Travel Zoo / 2015), the French are not (or more) the most hated tourists in the world. The Americans would now come first. Some numbers ! 69% of Americans admit to having already stolen the slippers available in hotel rooms. 10% of Germans admit to having already deceived their partner during a stay in a foreig...
